Job Description
Design, develop, integrate and test system components within the next generation of high speed inkjet presses.
Responsibilities
Cross discipline collaboration on and developing solutions and strategies for achieving print and image quality goals, productivity and waste goals
Develop solutions and strategies to achieve reliability and pen health goals on existing and future systems
Facilitate system design and functionality so that system quality, speed and utilization goals are achieved
Develop diagnostic plots, test tools, and test methods as needed. Provide the infrastructure, develop and debug code that enables product validation
Cooperatively work with partners to solve problems and share metrics, testing, learning and strategies
Qualifications
This is an internship opportunity. The successful candidate will be 3yr and above University Student majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
Required Skills
Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners world-wide. Creative problem solver who can take the initiative to pursue lines of investigation. Ability to engage in an objective debate with peers on a periodic basis with regards to the direction of the project and be able to redirect project goals to best utilize his/her time. The intern is expected to present the results of his/her project.
Must be able to show a legal right to work in the US.
