Ramboll, an international environmental consulting and engineering firm, is seeking an accountant to join the US Finance & Accounting group, which is primarily based in Ramboll's Arlington, Virginia and Syracuse, New York offices. We are searching for an Accountant in our Arlington, Virginia corporate accounting group. The position will report to our Accounting Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review and process daily cash receipts for the US in the accounting system
• Prepare AR and cash receipt reports
• Process AR adjustments (cash reapplications and refund adjustment requests) and perform AR reconciliations
• Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries related to AR
• Assist in monthly closing activities, such as trend analysis of Americas Division's multiple business units and research any variances.
• Other projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 1 or more years' work experience in accounting or auditing environment.
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting systems a plus.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexibility and openness to varied assignments.
