USA Lacrosse, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, is the governing body of men’s and women’s lacrosse in the United States, leads the U.S. National Teams Program and establishes universal standards. With nearly 400,000 members across the country, USA Lacrosse unites the community of players, coaches, officials, parents, and program leaders. Working together, we inspire participation, enrich the athlete experience, and support the growth of the sport.
The Home of Lacrosse
USA Lacrosse became the new name of our organization in May 2021. USA Lacrosse is proud to serve the sport by bringing the energy and excitement to our efforts that the players, coaches and officials bring every time they step on the field.
We collaborate with passionate experts across the sport to create opportunities for people to enjoy the sport, learn about the game, keep participants safe and ensure that everyone feels welcome. Collaboration is something the organization was built upon. We were established in 1998 as US Lacrosse following the merger of eight national lacrosse organizations, mostly volunteer run, to help bring more resources to the sport.
USA Lacrosse acknowledges that our national headquarters was constructed on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of Native nations and communities. We recognize and respect Indigenous Peoples, past and present, as the traditional stewards of this land, and we honor the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous Peoples and their traditional territories.
Today, USA Lacrosse serves more than 400,000 members and we have invested more than $275 million into the sport’s development since our inception. We’re ready to do even more. Join us.
Since its founding in 1998, USA Lacrosse has gone through several looks and even our name change from US Lacrosse to USA Lacrosse in 2021. The original logo debuted in 1998 following the merger of several national lacrosse organizations. The interlocked logo was adopted in 2003 and remained in place until the rebranding to USA Lacrosse in 2021. The national teams, which had used the logos on the far right since 2010, also switched to the singular USA Lacrosse logo in 2021.
As the governing body of lacrosse in the United States, USA Lacrosse provides national leadership, structure and resources to fuel the sport’s growth and enrich the experience of participants.
We envision a future that offers everyone a lifelong opportunity to enjoy the sport of lacrosse.
Lacrosse is a Game for All
USA Lacrosse is committed to fostering a national lacrosse community that encourages understanding, appreciation and acceptance of all. We believe that broad representation and participation, through accessibility and availability to everyone, add significant value to the lacrosse experience of each of us.
If you’re looking for a dynamic atmosphere surrounded by supportive and passionate co-workers, then USA Lacrosse is the place to be. We also offer great benefits, including generous employer paid medical, dental, life and long-term disability.
USA Lacrosse seeks to foster a national lacrosse community that encourages understanding, appreciation and acceptance of all within its membership, volunteer base, and staff. Further, USA Lacrosse believes that broad representation adds significant value to the lacrosse experience of each of us, and that these valued experiences are enhanced by embracing underrepresented and underserved communities.
