JOB OVERVIEW
The Farm Credit Council is looking for a summer intern to work with our communications staff in Washington, D.C. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated person with experience in social media platforms, video editing and creating digital content in Adobe/Canva. Successful applicants will have a positive attitude and take initiative.
This internship provides a comprehensive experience in the finance/agriculture industry, and all interns will take a hands-on approach to learning about public affairs, communications and reputation management.
This is a paid internship at $20/hour, with an expectation of working approximately 40 hours per week from May to August. The Farm Credit Council operates on a hybrid schedule of remote work on Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
Any student or recent graduate of a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) selected to intern would receive an additional $3,500 stipend as part of Farm Credit's program.

The Council provides the mechanism for member grassroots involvement in the development of positions and policies with respect to federal legislation and government actions that impact Farm Credit.
