SSP America seeks an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual able to contribute to SSP America's corporate growth by coordinating proposal support to include new business proposals and presentations, content management, and more. This position reports to the Director of Proposals.

  • Position is hybrid (based in Ashburn, VA) and requires up to 15% travel throughout the US and Canada.

Essential Functions

  • Create and maintain proposal folders with RFx documents. Closely monitor bid portals for addenda and notify the team.
  • Required to augment the existing proposal team and communicate effectively with the utmost professionalism, attention to detail and focus on achieving efficiency.
  • Create and maintain OneDrive folder for brand assets. Update brand asset matrix and notify team of outstanding items.
  • Assist team with proofing proposal content.
  • Assist team with production and shipping of printed and electronic proposals. Anticipate needs of inventory for proposal production.
  • Assist with creating effective business development presentations.
  • Handle a large volume of additional and administrative tasks essential to the effective operation of the department.
  • Setup vendors and submit invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements/Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience administration, proposal development, graphic design, and/or marketing in a similar corporate support position, in administration, proposal development, graphic design, and/or marketing preferably in the hospitality, food service/food and beverage or airport industry.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat with desktop publishing and/or graphic design skills an added benefit.
  • Create and maintain OneDrive folder for brand assets. Update brand asset matrix and notify team of outstanding items.
  • Serve as point of contact for stakeholders to receive and send materials, retrieve signatures, etc.
  • As directed, support the writing of non-technical sections of the proposal such as resumes.
