The Manager of Environmental Services will provide leadership, direction, and management oversight for continuous improvement of the standard Environmental Services (EVS) operating model within the organization. The position is accountable for the cleaning services in all areas within Mary's Center facilities.
The Manager of Environmental Services (EVS) plans, coaches, coordinates and evaluates the activities of the environmental services (EVS) team leads and EVS workers. The Manager of Environmental Services works collaboratively with various cross functional teams throughout the organization to understand the key workstreams that impact operations. This position is very visible and has constant contact with the organization's managerial staff, frontline employees, patients, guests and outside vendors and contractors.
Reportability
This position will report directly to the Director of Environmental Services.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities -
Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English & Spanish is required.
Work Schedule - Must have availability Monday-Saturday.
Licenses & Certifications - Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) preferred.
Driving Requirements - A valid and current driver's license from Maryland, Virginia, or District of Columbia. Must be 21 years of age to drive a Mary's Center Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a Mary's Center vehicle rated for 15 or more passengers.
Physical Demands - Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear; must be able to lift objects up to fifty (50) pounds.
Work Environment - Mostly in a typical outpatient office/clinic setting with a quiet to moderate noise level. Exposed to a combination of office and warehouse environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. May be exposed to potentially hazardous blood-borne/respiratory pathogens and bodily fluids which require the practice of Universal Precaution procedures.
