Summary of Position

The intern will be responsible for assisting and supporting the characterization studies of company's pipeline molecules.

Responsibilities and Job Duties

Assisting and support the characterization studies of company's pipeline molecules under supervision.

  • Making buffers and reagents according to the written SOPs
  • Assisting experimental design, execution, sample, and data collection
  • Operating analytical instruments under the guidance
  • Make a good note of the study progress and write a report
  • Participate in general laboratory works (e.g. inventory, waste management, receiving packages)

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Certifications & Experience

Rising college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioorganic chemistry, Organic chemistry, or related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong background and keen understanding of chemistry including the areas of analytical, organic, bioorganic chemistry.
  • Must have some experience with using analytical instrument (any sort of).
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) and be able to follow the instructions and guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S .degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioorganic chemistry, Organic chemistry, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience of using analytical instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS
  • Having general knowledge of antibody structures and functions
