China Research, Development & Acquisition (RDA) Analyst (language enabled)

Job Description

Mission Essential is seeking a research, development, and acquisition (RDA) analyst to focus on foreign Al/ML with military applications and implications. Attention shall be focused on foreign organizations and individuals who develop, train, and validate Al/ML algorithms. Other tasks include:

* Developing analytic products;

* Discovery, collection, and network building to help identify open source websites;

* Research and describe foreign organizations (parent and subordinate) conducting foreign Al/ML;

research and development (R&D);

* Research and identify ways to close intelligence gaps regarding foreign R&D efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

* Possess at minimum a bachelor's degree.

* Demonstrate the ability to read and understand scientific and technical lexicon.

* Maintain language proficiency scores that include at least a 2.0 in/on the lnteragency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale for reading Mandarin.

* Possess clear written and oral communication skills.

* Demonstrate a minimum of one year familiarity with the following computer programs:

o Microsoft Excel

o Microsoft Word

o Microsoft Outlook

o Microsoft PowerPoint

o Graphics Processing Software (e.g. Paint, GIMP)

* Preferably have familiarization with Palantir or Analyst's Notebook, though not mandatory.
