Job Description
Mission Essential is seeking a language enabled analyst to translate and perform dedicated discovery and collection against foreign language publicly available information (PAI). The contractor shall perform translation, dedicated discovery, and collection against foreign-language PAI EDT of strategic significance. The contractor shall focus specifically on S&T topics and associated document translation, as prioritized by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). PAI may include academic papers, patents, blog posts, stand-alone graphics, conference/symposium materials and other information available on the internet.
Minimum Requirements:
* Demonstrate the ability to read, understand, and translate scientific and technical lexicon.
* Maintain language proficiency scores that include at least a 2.0 in/on the lnteragency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale for reading Chinese Mandarin language.
* Possess clear written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrate a minimum of one year familiarity with the following programs:
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft Outlook
o Microsoft PowerPoint
o Graphics Processing Software (e.g. Paint, GIMP)
* TS/SCI Clearance
