About This Role:

Role Overview:Universal Consulting Services (UCS) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seekinga Market Researcher in support of our Air Force operational medical testing and evaluation customer. This position is responsible for communicating with government and test partners to collect and organize market research requirements; develop and implement methods for market research data collection from government and industry partners; collate and analyze market research data; and produce market research reports summarizing findings.

This opportunity is 100% on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research on medical products, collaborating and communicating with Department of Defense, Food and Drug Administration and other government agencies, industry partners and Subject Matter Experts
  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data (such as surveys or questionnaires) or arrange to obtain existing data through peer-reviewed resources
  • Collect and analyze medical product information (physical and information technology) from government and industry sources to identify potential markets, monitor industry statistics and follow trends in medical trade literature
  • Manage multiple simultaneous market research efforts, and prioritize efforts based upon government guidance, monitoring timelines for timely submission of deliverables
  • Prepare reports, potentially using advanced publishing software; staff internal documents through a review process; and document findings, illustrate data graphically and translate complex findings into written text
  • Provide market research support at the strategic or tactical level in accordance with established DoD policy guidelines
  • Forecast and track medical products and safety trends, analyzing collected data
  • Brief at staff meetings, conferences or training events providing information on medical market research approaches, methodologies, applications, and impact to the defense acquisition workforce
  • Develop Market Research Plans (MRPs), draft market research reports, and complete contractor quality reviews in compliance with established deadlines and outlined expectations
  • Coordinate with an integrated market research team including representation from analyst, biomedical engineering, and subject matter expert stakeholders - ensure proactive communication of project status, challenges, and delays
  • Proactively solicit participation from appropriate technology partners as identified through market research activities, trade show attendance, vendor demonstrations, scientific meetings, government regulatory and technology websites, and university technology incubator discussions

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well as advanced publishing software (Adobe InDesign, InCopy, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of the defense acquisitions program with a record of DAU course completion in test, acquisition, systems engineering, and logistics market research and/or requirements
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Possess strong editorial and writing skills and a keen understanding of different audiences
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Preferred experience in a military health environment and an understanding of the military organization
