About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Data Architect

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Designing Data Infrastructure:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify internal and external data sources related to patient health records.
    • Create and maintain data architecture that supports efficient data extraction, storage, and retrieval.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (such as HIPAA) for data security and privacy.
  1. Database Design and Optimization:
    • Develop and optimize database models to store patient information.
    • Analyze structural requirements for new software systems.
    • Migrate data from legacy systems to modern EHR platforms.
  2. Data Transformation and Lifecycle Management:
    • Transform data using tools like SQL and XML.
    • Manage data throughout its lifecycle, from creation to archival.
    • Implement data governance policies and procedures.
  3. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, clinicians, and administrators.
    • Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
    • Facilitate communication between different departments to align data strategies with organizational goals.
  4. Visualization and Problem-Solving:
    • Utilize advanced visualization techniques to represent data models and workflows.
    • Identify areas for improvement in existing systems.
    • Solve data-related challenges effectively.
Qualifications
