The Workday HRIS Analyst will sit in our corporate headquarters located in Columbia, MD and will support the integration of Workday HCM modules.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations.
  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday
  • Recommends changes to current processes to provide for the more effective use of Workday and takes the lead as a project manager to implement these changes.
  • Maintain and evolve system configurations; Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and efficacy of business processes; Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, research and test solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity in HCM systems through thorough testing of data loads and identification of intersections with other workstreams, technologies and integrations.
  • Assist in the development of custom reports, integrations, and data conversions within the Workday system.
  • Able to recommend and make decisions, while balancing business requirements, internal project timelines and technology roadmaps.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years as an HRIS analyst primarily with Workday HCM experience - Workday Certification and Workday Pro Security a plus
  • Experience in building and managing an effective Workday-based environment.
  • The ability to translate business objectives and unmet needs into a clear vision and roadmap, with requirements, then support the execution of that vision.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment and take ownership on projects and follow through to completion
  • Ability to balance multiple daily tasks and long-term strategic projects
  • Data analysis skills using with strong analytical and structured problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of HR practices, reporting needs and data analysis
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR functional areas

Additionally, candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidates who are bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) may be given preference.
