Missouri Institute Defense & Energy, University of Missouri - Kansas City

This position within Missouri Institute for Defense and Energy is for a summer Internship. The duties include the following:

1. Provide overall support to the UAS team.
2. Design and print 3D hardware in support of UAS Team goals.
3. Use simulation software sets to simulate designs across multiple UAS efforts.
4. Work with the aircraft integration team to solve engineering challenges.
5. Support UAS flight team in flight-test operations.
6. Assist in preparation of monthly status and final reports.

• Currently in third or fourth year of 4-year program.
• Currently in an undergraduate program in one of or related field in the following degree paths.
• Minimum GPA 3.0

Pay Rate is $17/hr

This is a part time position for summer with the tentative appointment period being May 10th 2024 through August 16th 2024
