Job Description

Hill International is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a full time on site role.

Services will generally include evaluation of contractor electrical and/or fire alarm shop drawings and submittals, inspection reports, witnessing of tests, commissioning, evaluation and detailed documentation of construction methods, construction materials, jobsite safety, as well as construction progress. Services will also include interpretation of plans and specifications along with detailed recommendations to the onsite Government Construction Administration team.


  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
  • Review electrical and fire system submittals
  • Understand and review inspection reports
  • Various electrical system and fire alarm tests
  • Fire alarm commissioning
  • National Electric Code
  • International Building Code
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work productively as part of a delivery team in the construction industry
  • Ability to work independently and perform tasks in a timely manner

  • Expertise with military codes and criteria, the National Electric Code, 12 months of experience in Fire Protection Systems, as well as local and International Building Codes will be needed.
  • Services will also require expertise in quality management and understanding of general quality assurance activities necessary to ensure conformance with the plans and specifications.
  • Journeyman Electrician with one year of Fire Alarm Experience or NICET Certified Fire Alarm Tech - Level 2
  • Completion of the Construction Quality Management for Contractors course.
  • Knowledge and experience using RMS
  • Twelve Months Fire Protection Systems Experience
  • Knowledge and experience with USACE 3-Phase Inspection process
