Chevo is hiring an experienced Strategic Analysis Management Analyst to join our expanding firm. This position will provide the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client's business and becoming a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to analysis of public policy and organizational doctrine to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. This position is in DC Metro area, and metro accessible. (POSITION IS HYBRID).
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the client in the interpretation of public policy to support the development and maintenance of operational plans, memos (including National Security Memorandums) and Concept of Operations (CONOPS), which will establish linkage among planning elements such as vision, mission, goals, objectives, strategies, and performance management initiatives.
  • Analyze public documents and policy documents, recommending changes to adhere to policies.
  • Assist in the development and articulation of the customer's strategic vision with corresponding mission, business, and performance measures based on public policy
  • Assist in the development of business improvement strategies in alignment with client priorities.
  • Assist in the development of long-range objectives and strategic plans with customers that identify internal and external strategic issues that could affect overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Stay appropriately networked and keeps abreast of trends, news, events, and emerging public policy
  • Prepare and delivers presentations and timely analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to interface with senior business decision-makers in a professional manner to understand their requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree
  • 5-10 years of experience related to conducting public policy and organizational strategy analysis and development.
  • Background in emerging technology, biotechnology, cyber security, Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Possesses strong analytical skills at the strategic organizational level in support of data driven strategy decision making
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong experience with MS Office Products: Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Teams, Word
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of stakeholder groups to solicit requirements
  • Ability to meet the requirements for fitness only clearance for work at Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior government contract consulting with DHS/CISA experience is strongly desired
  • Degree in public administration, public policy, political science, or related degree
