BVTI is seeking an experienced VA VBMS Claims Automation Expert to lead a team of four (4) Claims Processing Analysts providing direct support to the Department of Veterans Affairs in the areas of automation review, claims processing, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivator who is attentive to details and possesses the managerial skills required to independently oversee a team ensuring critical deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities
- Directly report to and support the Program Manager by overseeing a team of claims processing automation analysts in the successful delivery of services across all assigned task areas including, but not limited to, automation review, claims processing, and quality assurance.
- Participate in scheduled calls with the customers, partners, and vendors.
- Continually assess operations to ensure the quality of work complies with the contract performance requirements, foreseeing any need to initiate, recommend, approve, and/or provide solutions to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity.
- Coordinate the efforts of the team to ensure proper staffing is assigned to each inbound/outbound task required to meet daily and weekly performance goals.
- Measure and report on equipment performance.
- Apply leadership and managerial experience to positively encourage, mentor, and motivate a team who is performing routine and repetitive tasks exhibiting an awareness to demonstrate expertise in team dynamics, conflict management, and quality management concepts.
- Routinely provide guidance and performance feedback to team members.
- Monitor, gather, and analyze data related to quality and work performance to share efficiency and improvements with the Program Manager.
Key Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs as a VA Accredited Claims Agent strongly desired.
- Familiarity with the Veterans Benefit Management System and the claims process for VA Disability Programs.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional certifications, education, and/or relevant training will be taken into consideration and weighed appropriately when extending an offer.
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Proficient in using MS Teams and Google Chat.
