The Department of International Health is seeking a casualResearch Assistantto assist with the coordination of the Health Emergencies in Large Populations (HELP) course in the Winter and Summer Institutes. The person in this position will manage interests of the applicants to HELP, arrange for the publicity and assist with the management of the course when it is offered. The Research Assistant will assist with participants in doing the MOOCs and other online course work in advance of the course. The Research Assistant would need to be online continuously for the HELP Winter and Summer institutes.
Time required - variable during the regular school term but averaging 10-12 hours per week. During the Winter and Summer Institutes, this would be 40 hours a week leading up to the HELP course and for a short time after its conclusion.
