Since 2016, T-Rex Solutions (T-Rex) has been supporting large scale hybrid-cloud migrations and systems modernization, to include the successful deployment of the first-ever online U.S. Census in 2020. T-Rex is actively expanding its IT Modernization services within the Federal Civilian market, specifically supporting the Department of Education's strategic priorities.

T-Rex is seeking an Azure Systems Analyst to support the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of resilient, secure Cloud environments as the Department of Education looks to transition from an on-premise infrastructure to the cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of resilient secure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
• Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
• Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments.
• Support implementation of security policies, standards, guideline, and governance.
• Continuously support assessment, onboarding, and enabling of new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Ability to work in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in any of the following areas:
  • Azure Cloud administration and support
  • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
  • Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Ability to meet with customers to gather and understand business requirements
• Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and changing priorities
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be punctual, reliable, and accountable for themselves, with ability to follow through with tasks to completion

Desired Education & Experience:

• 2+ years of progressive experience administering and working in public cloud environments
• Azure Cloud certifications desired
• Experience working in an agile environment preferred

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
