Description

Leidos is seeking a Software Developer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Web-based applications. The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, DevOPS engineers, security engineers, and data engineers. The developer may work on both front-end (UI) and back-end aspects of the systems.

The software developer will be required to carry a duty phone on a rotational basis, and may need to come in to address issues that arise.

Required Qualifications:

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

* BS degree in a related information technology discipline, and 12+ years of related experience

* Strong Java programming skills for Web-based applications

* Experience in working on teams utilizing Agile workflows and processes

* Working knowledge of the Spring framework

Desired Qualifications (experience working with/in):

* Cloud environments

* Databases: Oracle, Oracle RDS, DynamoDB

* Linux

* Frameworks: Spring Boot, Vue.js, Thymeleaf, Hibernate

* Additional programming/scripting languages:

o Groovy, JavaScript, Bash, XML, JSON, YAML, SQL and PL/SQL

* Software:

o GitHub / Git, Apache, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), CloudFormation, Jenkins, Rundeck, Puppet, NAGIOS
